In the past week or so, on my mommy message boards, I have read maybe 3 posts by people who either think or just found out that they are PG. These people wrote posts about how they were breast feeding their infant (meaning less than 3 month old) and that they thought there was no way they could get pg while BFing. Doesnt it say EVERYWHERE that BFing is NOT a form of birth control. That you cannot rely on it to keep the egg from dropping. The egg drops before you get your first post pardom period so you have no idea when its going to happen. Also, with your cervix and uterus still somewhat stretched out (it takes a year for your body to get back to normal) its easier for the spermies to hang out and party.
We are also talking about people that have been around for awhile. A few years at least. Dont they read the posts about other people getting PG and still Bfing and being suprised? Do they talk to their doctors? Do they read the info on breastfeeding? I know my BF'ing book states that its not a form of BC and to use some form of BC if you dont want to get pg.
